Extended Hours

Our surveys of patient opinion suggest that over 90% of people are happy and willing to use our services during the hours 8.30am - 6.30pm but that some would appreciate the ability  to see a doctor slightly later in the evening. For some time now the surgery has offered appointments up to 8pm that have proved popular. These have allowed patients who work or commute or those who need family to bring them to the surgery to see a doctor at a more convenient time as well as allowing pre-booked appointment with specific doctors. Our nurses also run a lot of their clinics during these times, for example diabetes, asthma, blood pressure and family planning.

Our receptionists can still deal with enquiries and prescription requests at this time. The appointments are usually filled but there is provision for the doctor or nurse to deal with queries that may present themselves at this time.

N.B  These late appointments are at St Anne's Surgery on Station Road, but patients registered at Beltinge & Reculver Surgery are able to book into these sessions by telephoning the surgery in the usual way and requesting an evening appointment.
